New England Rose Society

ARS Certified Consulting Rosarians (CR) have met the following requirements:

• 2 years as a Member of the American Rose Society

• At least 5 years of experience growing roses

• Successfully complete a CR school (and pass a rigorous written exam)
  

Currently there are 1288 ARS Certified Consulting Rosarians (CR) across America. CRs are trained to provide important information on rose culture. They willingly and enthusiastically share their time and talent with both new and old rosarians.

An ARS certified Consulting Rosarian can help you. An ARS CR can address almost any question about growing roses. 

A CR provides basic as well as advanced information to the rosarian. Our motto is to keep the information simple and understandable.

You can readily find a CR near you as all local rose societies have trained CRs. A link to the ARS CR search page is here. The Cyber Rosarian is also available.

The ARS and your National Consulting Rosarian Chairmen Mike and

Anita Eckley are making it easy to attend by consolidating the classes

into two sessions:

February 3, 2024    12:30 AM - 3:30 PM Eastern Time

• CR Mission and Ethics -- Diane Sommers
• Soil & Water--Steve and Diana Steps
• Chemical Safety -- Joe Muzy 

February 10, 2024    12:30 AM - 3:30 PM Eastern Time

• Fertilizer -- Art Wade
• Insects and Diseases -- Baldo Villegas

New CR Candidates must attend all of the Webinars. If you plan to

apply as new CR, please contact Yankee District Chair of Consulting

Rosarians Toni Simonetti (prtoni@yahoo.com) to insure all the

paperwork is completed by January 31, 2023.

that candidates use a computer to register to insure credit for

the courses.
